1 Corrida da Capela da PMPR

On November 8, 2026, runners and walkers will gather for the 1ª Corrida da Padroeira at the Villa Militar Association in Curitiba, Paraná. This community-focused event celebrates health and wellness through a 5km run and a more leisurely 3km walk. The race offers participants an opportunity to enjoy scenic routes around the military village while supporting local charitable initiatives.
The day begins with a special start for individuals with disabilities at 6:00 AM, followed closely by the main event starting line-ups for both runners and walkers. Participants will be treated to hydration stations along the course and finish with a medal ceremony upon completion of their respective distances.
For those in law enforcement, including police forces across various branches such as military and civil security units, there is an exclusive registration period offering discounted rates from September 14th through October 1st at R$59.90 per entry. The general public can also register during this promotional phase for the same price.
The event encourages community engagement with a requirement to bring one kilogram of non-perishable food as part of kit pickup on Saturday, which will be donated to local charities. Additionally, there are special discounts available for groups and sports associations that sign up 11 or more participants.
Organizers ensure an inclusive atmosphere by providing essential items such as timing chips and finisher medals in every participant's race package while offering optional merchandise like custom event t-shirts at R$58.90 each. The race promises a memorable day of exercise, camaraderie, and giving back to the community.
