ONT's 5K at the Runway

Experience the fifth annual RunwayCome Race at Ontario International Airport on February 6, 2027. This award-winning event offers runners and their families an unforgettable day filled with aviation excitement and community spirit. Participants can choose between a scenic 5K race or a one-mile Family Walk, both circling the airport’s south side where clear views of the San Gabriel Mountains complement the thrilling sight of planes taking off and landing.
The 5K course is flat and fast, making it perfect for all skill levels while raising funds to support the USO at ONT. Over four years, this event has contributed over $168,771 towards enhancing the lives of service members and their families who pass through Ontario International Airport annually.
For those not joining the race or walk, a free Community Event awaits from 9 to 11 a.m. in the National Guard Hangar. This space transforms into an interactive hub where attendees can meet airport staff, enjoy kid-friendly activities, indulge at food trucks, and relax in the biergarten. It's a chance for everyone to engage with the vibrant community that keeps Ontario International Airport running smoothly.
Whether you're racing or just there to soak up the atmosphere, join us on February 6th for an event that celebrates aviation, fitness, and camaraderie.
