About the event
The course starts and finishes at MUFG Stadium, the National Stadium, and takes in Jingu Gaien, the area in front of Shinjuku Station's east exit and Kagurazaka. This entry-sponsor listing covers the half marathon, which is split into men's and women's categories for ID entries, athletics federation-registered runners, and general runners by age band from high school to 39, through the 40s, 50s and 60s, up to 70 and over.
The wider event also includes a 10 km race through Meiji Jingu Gaien, a kids' race for pre-schoolers called Hiyoko, events for elementary and junior high school pupils, and family runs.
