Wadsworth Trog

Experience a challenging and scenic route at the Wadsworth Community Centre, nestled in Old Town, Hebden Bridge, as you embark on this 19.3-mile (31km) journey through rolling hills and rugged terrain. The race, which ascends to an elevation of 3642 feet (1110m), demands navigational prowess rather than relying solely on GPS technology. Competitors must adhere strictly to FRA rules by carrying essential kit including a waterproof full-body cover with integrated hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, and emergency food.
The course offers stunning views of the Yorkshire countryside, winding through areas that may host shooting events on Saturdays; thus, running on Sundays is highly recommended. With limited parking available at Wadsworth Community Centre (SD 998285), car sharing is encouraged to minimize congestion. Participants must be at least 18 years old and are required to undergo a kit check before receiving their race number.
Take advantage of early bird entry by January 1st, 2027, for this event that promises an unforgettable start to the racing season.
