2027 Kobe Valentine's Day Love Run (2027神戸バレンタインデー・ラブラン)

Billed as the only running event in Japan themed around Valentine's Day, this race has a stylish touch. More than half of the course is on public roads, and it is flat with many straights, which makes it approachable for beginners. Runners follow a coastal route with a panorama of the port of Kobe, and every finisher receives a chocolate gift. Events include a half marathon, 10km, a pair 5km and a four-leg ekiden of about 20.4km.
Fees start at 5,000 yen for the half (6,500 yen with T-shirt), 4,500 yen for the 10km (6,000 yen with T-shirt), 5,000 yen per pair for the 5km (8,000 yen with T-shirt) and 14,000 yen per ekiden team (21,500 yen with T-shirt). Charity half marathon entries cost 8,000 yen and charity 10km entries 7,500 yen, and tea party options are also offered. From each charity entry, 2,600 yen is donated to children's cafeterias and similar causes.
