132nd TAMA Half Marathon (第132回 TAMAハーフマラソン)
About the event
The TAMA Half Marathon is a monthly race supported by Kawasaki City, held in Seta, Takatsu Ward. The organizers aim for a relaxed event that anyone can join, likening it to a marathon version of radio calisthenics, with a particular emphasis on medical support. Free invitations go to junior high and high school sports clubs, mainly in Kawasaki.
The committee includes members who serve as volunteer leaders at major marathons, and AED coverage is arranged to reach any point within 1.25 km, following the example of major races.
Distances are 1 km (a parent may accompany a child who needs a companion), 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, the half marathon and 30 km.
