Trevithick 12km

Since its inception in 1998 as the Blaythorne 10, this race has grown from an intimate gathering of just 80 runners to a beloved cornerstone of Cornwall's racing scene. Initially known as the Storm Force 10 for its challenging 10-mile course, it marked the beginning of the Grand Prix season. In recent years, it transformed into the Trevithick 12k—a shorter but equally demanding race that kicks off the Cornwall Grand Prix Road Racing Series each year.
Organized by Carn Runners and boasting over 600 participants, this event offers a fast and scenic route through Camborne's streets. The race is celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and strong local support, making it an annual highlight for club members and runners alike. Each finisher receives a bespoke medal to commemorate the achievement.
Entries open on October 9th, 2026, with optional merchandise available until December 1st. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the thrill of running alongside enthusiastic competitors in one of Cornwall's most cherished races.
