22. Rostocker Spendenlauf
About the event
Join us on January 18, 2026, for the 21st Rostocker Spendenlauf and help make a difference. This annual run aims to support "Schule für Afrika," an initiative dedicated to empowering children through education in Africa since 2017.
The event takes place at the Rostock Leichtathletikstadion, where participants will gather before embarking on a scenic 2.5km loop around Barnstorfer Wald. The run begins promptly at 10:00 AM and offers runners an opportunity to contribute positively by raising funds for educational projects in Africa.
Participants can register online or sign up onsite if they missed the initial registration period. While electronic timing is not available due to cost constraints, all contributions are vital in supporting this impactful cause.
For more information on "Schule für Afrika" and how you can get involved beyond the run day, visit www.schule-fuer-afrika.com. Your support helps pave a brighter future for young girls at Massai College Arusha who would otherwise not have access to such educational opportunities without donations like yours.
Please join us in making this year's event another success as we continue our mission of fostering education and empowerment through running. For any inquiries, contact Rostocker Citylauf e.V. via [email protected] or by phone at 0381 375 6920.

About Rostock
Learn more about the host city, Rostock.
Rostock is the largest city in the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, though not its capital. It is a hub for Baltic Sea ferries, Germany's largest port for cruise ships by number of boardings and pleasant enough for a longer stay mostly due to its Hanseatic heritage.
