2.0. Kent Backyard Ultra Series II Pass | The Final Three

The Kent Backyard Ultra Series II presents an unparalleled challenge for endurance runners, with Dover serving as the first test of winter conditions and resilience on January 9th, 2027. Set at Great Farthingloe Farm near Dover, this event will push participants through a course that winds around the valley's terrain, offering stunning views towards the Kent coast and France.
Dover is not just about physical endurance; it also demands mental fortitude as runners face cold temperatures and unpredictable weather conditions typical of early January. This race builds upon lessons learned from previous events or serves as an introduction to the series for newcomers. Each yard completed within one hour earns you another chance, continuing until only one runner remains.
The event is part of a larger commitment that includes Sholden in April and Bedgebury in July, each presenting unique challenges designed to test different aspects of your running abilities over time. By securing entry through the Series Pass, runners gain exclusive access to a WhatsApp group where they can connect with fellow participants, coaches, and past winners for support and advice throughout their training journey.
Dover's winter conditions make it an ideal starting point for those looking to push beyond their limits in controlled yet demanding circumstances. The race is open to club members at £315 or non-club runners at £317, offering a discounted booking that includes entry into all three remaining events of the series.
