Lago Maggiore Half Marathon

The Lake Maggiore Half Marathon offers one of the fastest and most scenic race experiences in Italy. Runners can choose between a 21 km or 10 km distance along a point-to-point route from Stresa to Verbania, hugging the shoreline of the Borromean Gulf. With its gentle profile and minimal elevation, the half-marathon holds Italy’s second-fastest all-time performance at 59'06''. The event is organised by Sport Pro-Motion ASD and blends professional race execution with unforgettable lakeside views. The start area in elegant Stresa and the finish in Pallanza provide a backdrop of historic villas, blooming gardens, and shimmering waters. Pre-race excitement builds at the LMHM Village, hosted in the Stresa Congress Palace, with music, exhibitors, and services for runners. Whether chasing a personal record or enjoying the beautiful views, this is a race that delivers on every front.
