IRONSTAR Egypt

IRONSTAR Egypt kicks off its season on the sun-drenched shores of Sharm El Sheikh, offering triathletes and runners an exhilarating weekend amidst the Red Sea’s crystal-clear waters. The event features a diverse lineup that includes both individual races such as open-water swimming and separate men's and women's runs, alongside family-friendly options for younger participants.
The swim leg takes place in the renowned Red Sea, where athletes plunge into water temperatures hovering around 20°C in February. With clear visibility and calm conditions, swimmers can enjoy a refreshing start to their race day. In case of adverse weather, an alternative course ensures continuity without compromising safety or enjoyment.
Transitioning from water to land, cyclists navigate a wide road that offers smooth surfaces and excellent sightlines for maintaining high speeds. The route is designed to accommodate early-season training goals while providing athletes with the opportunity to fine-tune their technique in ideal conditions.
The running portion of the event winds through the picturesque grounds of Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh, where well-maintained paths and gentle turns create an inviting atmosphere for runners. Spectators line the course, cheering on participants as they soak up the resort’s vibrant energy.
IRONSTAR Egypt seamlessly blends athletic competition with a luxurious vacation experience. Athletes can start their day in spirited races, unwind by the sea during the afternoon hours, and enjoy evening activities within the confines of the resort. Whether you're aiming for personal bests or simply looking to combine fitness goals with relaxation, this event offers an unparalleled blend of challenge and indulgence.
The weekend promises a unique fusion of sporting excellence and tropical allure, making it a must-attend destination for athletes from around the globe.
