8º ZERO RUN

On February 14, 2027, the vibrant city of Cascavel will host the eighth edition of Corrida Zero Açucar, an annual race that has grown to welcome over 4,000 runners each year. Known for its inclusive atmosphere and diverse course options—3 km walk, 6 km run, and a challenging 12 km route—the event caters to both beginners and seasoned athletes alike.
The race starts at Av. Brasil 5400 in the city center, opposite McDonald’s, with participants gathering early on Sunday morning for an energetic start at 7:00 AM. The flat terrain of the shorter distances makes it a popular choice among newcomers looking for their first competitive experience, while the longer route offers seasoned runners opportunities to push their limits and set new personal records.
Leading up to race day, enthusiastic training sessions help participants prepare in style, fostering camaraderie and excitement within the running community. Each runner receives one of two kit options: a premium package featuring personalized clothing items like custom shirts and shorts alongside an eco-friendly bag and race number; or a basic option including just a shirt, bag, and number.
Whether you're aiming for personal bests or simply enjoying the scenic route through Cascavel’s bustling streets, Corrida Zero Açucar promises to be an unforgettable day of sport and community.
