Zombie Family Fun Run & Walk

Immerse yourself in a ghoulishly fun atmosphere at the Zombie Family Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, October 17th, 2026. Set against the backdrop of Geiser-Pollman Park in Baker City, Oregon, this non-timed event invites participants to don their most creative zombie or Halloween costumes and join a community brimming with festive energy.
Registration for the run/walk can be completed online ahead of time or on-site at 12:00 pm. The race kicks off promptly at 1:00 pm, beginning in Geiser-Pollman Park and following the scenic Leo Adler Pathway south to Bridge Street before turning west onto Resort Street. Participants then make their way along Madison Street back to the park's starting point.
The course spans a total distance of 1.17 miles, winding through charming Baker City streets lined with enthusiastic onlookers. For those under ten years old, trick-or-treating opportunities await along the route, adding an extra layer of excitement and fun for young participants.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three adult and child costumes, encouraging creativity and spirit in this themed event. All proceeds from the Zombie Family Fun Run & Walk benefit the Baker 5J band program, making your participation not only a thrilling experience but also a meaningful contribution to local youth development.
