The Zenkoji Round Trail is an early-season mountain running event held in the foothills surrounding the historic Zenkoji Temple in Nagano City, Japan. Scheduled for the spring of 2026, the race invites participants to experience the blooming landscapes of the region through two distinct courses. The event emphasizes a pure trail running experience, encouraging runners to explore local sightseeing in Nagano independently after the race.

The race offers two distances primarily utilizing the trails around Mt. Jizuki. Entry is handled exclusively online, with specific registration categories for those requiring on-site parking.

The event is staged at Jizukiyama Park (3024-1 Agematsu, Nagano City), located approximately 2.2 km from the Zenkoji Temple area. The terrain features well-maintained but steep mountain trails that provide panoramic views of Nagano City and the surrounding peaks. In mid-April, the region typically sees mild spring temperatures around 15°C, though trails can be damp from spring rains. For participants traveling by train, a paid shuttle bus operates between Nagano Station (East Exit) and the venue, with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes. Alternative access includes local buses to the "Zenkoji-kita" stop or a 5.2 km taxi ride from the station.

The shuttle bus service requires advance reservation via the e-moshicom platform. Outbound buses are scheduled for 8:00, 9:00, and 10:15 (the latter reserved for Short Course participants). Return shuttles depart the venue at 14:30, 15:30, and 16:30. For those driving, parking is strictly limited to participants who specifically registered for the "Parking Included" entry tier. General parking is not available at Jizukiyama Park for other entrants, though several paid lots are located near Zenkoji Temple.

The organizers do not provide official lodging plans or post-race parties, urging participants to book their own accommodations in Nagano City early, as hotels fill quickly during the spring season. Race materials, such as postcards for participation, are mailed one week prior to the event, while detailed race guides are published on the official website. Volunteers are also recruited annually to assist with course management and aid station support.
