Yixian Langya Mountain Hiking Festival 2026 (易县2026狼牙山登山节)

The Yixian 2026 Langya Mountain Climbing Festival takes place on Sunday, November 8, starting at 8:00 AM from the third parking lot of the Langya Mountain Scenic Area. The race course spans a total distance of 6.7 kilometers, featuring varied terrain that challenges both runners and hikers alike. Participants begin with an initial stretch of 1.5 kilometers along paved roads before transitioning to more rugged paths leading up to the scenic entrance gate.
The highlight of this event is the challenging climb from the entrance gate to the Five Heroes Memorial Tower, a round trip covering 5.2 kilometers. This section predominantly consists of stone steps and wooden walkways that wind through lush forests, offering breathtaking views at every turn. The course ascends steeply, providing an exhilarating yet demanding experience for runners as they navigate the rugged terrain.
With a total capacity of 600 participants—300 men and 300 women—the event promises to be both competitive and community-driven. Runners will enjoy the camaraderie among competitors while immersing themselves in the natural beauty of Langya Mountain, making this race an unforgettable experience for all who take part.
Registration follows a first-come-first-served basis until full capacity is reached.
The event offers runners an opportunity to explore one of China's most scenic and historically significant mountain landscapes.
