Yellowstone Rendezvous Race

Are you ready to put a winter’s worth of training to the test while you enjoy the beauty of the Yellowstone region? You are invited to participate in the 46th annual Yellowstone Rendezvous Race on March 8th, 2025 in West Yellowstone, Montana. There are six different races to choose from depending on your interest and ability: 2K, 5K, 10K, 25K classic, 25K and 50K. The six races are run concurrently and skiers of all ages and abilities participate every year. The Rendezvous Race is the culmination of cross country ski racing in our region and, as the name implies, it is a reunion of old timers and new comers alike who have trained and skied on our trail system for years or who are skiing here for the first time. Run on the beautifully groomed, rolling terrain of the Rendezvous Ski Trails, there is no better way to celebrate the end of the winter season than to ski in the Yellowstone Rendezvous Race!

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

ALL entries must be accompanied by the proper fee to pre-register. NO REFUNDS are allowed for any reason including race cancellation. Entry fees are NOT TRANSFERABLE between individuals. 

RACE REGISTRATION ENTRY FEES

25k and 50k Race Fees:
$75 through January 18, 2025
$85 through February 22, 2025
$95 until March 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM

10k Race Fees:
$50 through February 22, 2025
$65 until March 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM

2k and 5k Kids Race Fees:
$25 through February 22, 2025
$40 until March 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM

Gifts for kids races (2K & 5K) not included in race fee.  You may purchase a child's gift for an additional cost.

The race will be limited to the first one thousand participants registered.

The entry fee includes participation in the race, bail-out shuttles along the course, aid stations, finish area food and refreshments as well as race souvenirs and promotional materials, and award ceremony.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS NOON MST (12:00pm) THURSDAY, March 6, 2025. No extensions will be given.

Packet Pickup:

All entrants will need to pick up their Race Packets along with last minute race information, wave seeding information, souvenirs and promotional materials on Friday, March 7, 2025 (at the Holiday Inn Conference Center from 5:30-8 PM). This is the LAST CHANCE to change K's! - NO NEW REGISTRATIONS!

Please remember these things:

Photo ID will be required to pick up packets
There will be a $5 fee to change K's and additional registration fee to change from 10km to 25km or 50km
Photo ID will be required to change K's

PLEASE NOTE: $20 Late Pickup FEE For entrants arriving in West Yellowstone after packet pickup closes on Friday, March 7, 2025. The late packet pickup is on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 7:30 to 8:15 AM at the Povah Center. This will be packet pickup only! No Registration or change of K's on Saturday!

You may have someone pick up your packet and timing chip for you on Friday evening. If you are doing this, please email race_secretary@skirunbikemt.com the information of who will be picking up your packet (and your season pass information if necessary).

Awards Categories:

2k Male/Female:
0-6, 7-9, 10-12
5k Male/Female:
9-11, 12-13, 14-15 (anyone over 15 racing 5k will not receive an award)
10k Male/Female:
11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30+
25k Freestyle & Classic Male/Female:
13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, etc. (must be 13 by race day)
50k Freestyle Male/Female:
18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, etc. (must be 18 by race day)

If you are planning on staying with us in West Yellowstone, please think of booking your accommodations early due to another town event taking place that weekend.
