XXII CURSA KM CONTRA EL CÀNCER SANTA COLOMA DE GRAMENET

Join us on Sunday, October 18, 2026 for the XXII edition of the Cursa Santa Coloma de Gramenet KM contra el Cáncer Deichmann Kmxtothom. This annual race is organized by the Association Against Cancer in Santa Coloma de Gramenet and aims to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
The event will take place at 10:00 AM in Parc de Can Zam, where participants can choose between a running or walking route covering a scenic 5-kilometer course. The race is designed with all fitness levels in mind, allowing up to 90 minutes to complete the distance. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for both running and walking.
In addition to the race itself, registration includes a commemorative t-shirt, bib number, and refreshments at the finish line. By participating, you'll not only enjoy an active day in Santa Coloma de Gramenet but also contribute directly to cancer prevention efforts through your entry fee.
The event is generously supported by various sponsors including DEICHMANN, TRACTOPON, NACEX, CER i DIREXIS TUSGSAL, and the local municipality. Media coverage will be provided by El Periódico.
Registration for this year’s race opens on September 1st through RockTheSport online platform until October 17th at 13:00 hours. Alternatively, you can register in person from September 7th to October 16th between the specified times and locations listed above. Please note that no bibs or t-shirts will be available for collection on race day.
After crossing the finish line, stay around Parc de Can Zam until noon to enjoy a variety of activities organized by local entities in support of this cause:
- Live music performances featuring LLuis Rovira
- A batucada and malabares performance by Colla Jove Dimonis from Santa Coloma
- DJ sets from Santako +Jove at Metro Santa Coloma
- Masterclasses on dance, including Zumba and ballroom dancing led by AVV Can Calvet starting at 11:15 AM
In addition to the entertainment, there will be interactive booths set up for sponsors Tractopon and Deichmann along with a science workshop for children run by AECC. There are also information stands where you can learn more about cancer prevention initiatives or purchase solidarity products.
