XV Cursa Solidària País del Cava

The Solidarity Run of the Country of Cava invites runners and walkers to explore the scenic route between Vilafranca del Penedès, known as the Capital of Wine, and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, recognized as the Capital of Cava. Set for a morning start at 10:00 AM from Rambla de Nostra Senyora near Carrer Santa Clara in Vilafranca, participants will traverse 15.4 kilometers through picturesque vineyards and charming countryside landscapes.
Registration takes place on race day starting at 8:00 AM outside the Casino of Vilafranca on Rambla de Sant Francesc, where runners can collect their bibs before setting off on this rewarding journey. The course is designed to be enjoyed whether walking or running, with a generous three-hour window for completion.
Throughout the route, participants will find refreshment stations offering much-needed hydration and sustenance as they make their way through vineyard-lined paths. To assist those traveling between Vilafranca and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, complimentary shuttle buses are available to transport runners at both start and finish points.
Upon crossing the finish line, adult participants will be greeted with a celebratory glass of cava, adding an extra layer of joy to their accomplishment. This year's edition introduces a new route that winds through winding country lanes surrounded by lush vineyards, providing breathtaking views along every step of the way.
Entry fees for this event are set at 16 euros and include a technical shirt commemorating the race. All proceeds from the Solidarity Run will benefit local food banks in Vilafranca and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, making your participation not just an athletic endeavor but also a meaningful contribution to community support.
