XIVTRAVESÍA A NADO O FISGÓN, como cada año, el CLUB TRIATLÓN MORRAZO en Colaboración con el CONCELLO DE MOAÑA celebra el 15 de Agosto esta travesía a nado, referente en las Rías Baixas y abierta a todo tipo de nadadores, de 14 años en adelante, la distancia aproximada es de 2200Mts y una prueba para niños gratuita de entre 8 y 13 años. Se celebra en la ensenada de Moaña frente a la playa de la Xunqueira y la salida será desde la zona del Palco de Música de Moaña. La prueba se celebrará a las 10.30 de la mañana, cada participante tendrá un regalo conmemorativo, al finalizar sortearemos dos bonos del Spa Bienestar Moaña .Cada bono incluye desayuno en Hotel Bienestar Moaña y Acceso al club termal en el Spa Bienestar Moaña válido para dos personas (válido de miércoles a sábados). Los nadadores irán acompañados por kayakistas, paddle, embarcaciones así como socorristas.

Animaros a venir y pasar un día de deporte y un reto bonito en la Ría de Vigo, en las últimas ediciones hemos tenido desde Olimpicos hasta Campeones del Mundo, así que siempre es un alicente poder nadar con gente de tan altísimo nivel.

About Moaña

Moaña is a municipality located in Galicia, Spain in the province of Pontevedra. In 2018, it had a population of 19,448 inhabitants. It is one of the five municipalities with Bueu, Cangas do Morrazo, Marin and Vilaboa that forms the peninsula of O Morrazo. This peninsula separates the Ria of Vigo from the Ria of Pontevedra. The coast of Moaña has several beaches and the area combines tourism with traditional seafood production. The surrounding sea contains sea farms where mussels, oysters and other species are cultivated and it is an idyllic place for practicing sea sports activities. The Strait of Rande, where the Rande Bridge now connects Moaña with the municipality of Redondela, was the scene of the Battle of Vigo Bay. Moaña has developed a significant cultural life with the highlights of this being the Interceltic Festival of Morrazo, the Week of Carnival and numerous other local feasts. Social movements were relevant in Moaña in the first half of the 20th century where the presence of the CNT was significant. In fact, the current local pub/bar for retired people was the head office of this syndicate in Moaña during the Second Spanish Republic.
