XIII Carrera entre Dinosaurios Villa de Igea

On November 28, 2026, the picturesque town of Igea in La Rioja hosts the final race of the Popular Circuit Races "Ramón Optica." This scenic 10.1-kilometer Country Run and non-competitive march event starts at Plaza Pedro María Sanz Alonso with a rolling out through the charming landscapes of Igea.
Participants will enjoy running along winding trails that showcase La Rioja's rural beauty, passing by vineyards and historic landmarks as they make their way to the finish line back in the plaza. The race is limited to 150 runners who secure spots early on; each receives a guaranteed goodie bag with registration.
The day features additional activities for families, including non-competitive races for children of various age groups starting at 10:00 AM. These events provide an opportunity for young athletes to experience the joy and camaraderie of running in a supportive environment.
After crossing the finish line, runners are invited to enjoy free refreshments and explore the nearby Centro de Interpretación Paleontológica with their complimentary admission included in race entry fees. The town also offers facilities such as municipal pools for male participants and an albergue youth hostel for female athletes looking to freshen up after the event.
