On December 27, 2026, the festive atmosphere of Guadalajara will come alive with runners and spectators alike as they gather for an exciting day filled with races tailored to all ages. The event kicks off at Concesionario Tomé on Calle Trafalgar N16 in Guadalajara, where participants can pick up their race bibs from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM and again from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Bib collection requires a valid ID (DNI) along with the receipt of registration.
The day's races start at 11:00 AM for the youngest participants, who will run distances ranging from 100 meters for children aged 1 to 5 years old, up to 800 meters for those in the infantil category (ages 12-13). Older runners have two options of 5 kilometers or 10 kilometers at noon. The event encourages participants to dress up in festive Christmas costumes, adding a playful twist to the competitive spirit.
For the more serious competitors, trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in several categories including absolute men and women for both the 5K and 10K races as well as veteran runners over 55 years old. Additionally, all children who participate receive medallions regardless of their finishing positions.
