The Mittagong region becomes an empowering navigation classroom at the Women's Orienteering Weekend on February 28 - March 1, 2026, where women of all experience levels develop wilderness navigation skills in a supportive, female-focused environment. WOW transforms orienteering into an accessible skill-building journey with three distinct streams—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—ensuring every participant finds appropriate challenges whether navigating their first map or refining off-track expertise. Beyond competitive orienteering, these skills transfer directly to bushwalking, rogaining, adventure racing, and confident wilderness exploration.
Inclusive weekend or single-day registrations cover professional coaching, training activities, maps, land access fees, plus Sunday breakfast and lunch, while participants can join the optional Saturday evening presentation and meal at Mittagong RSL. With reserved accommodation at Mittagong Springs Motel and refund protection options, this weekend represents more than training—it's a community-building experience where women empower each other to confidently navigate both maps and outdoor adventures.
