Welcome to the Wisconsin Anvil Ultra Triathlon—an unforgettable ultra-endurance event set in the beauty of Ottawa Lake State Park in Dousman, Wisconsin. Whether you're taking on your first full-distance triathlon or doubling down on the Anvil’s signature challenges [multi continuous distance triathlons], this event is designed for athletes who live to push limits and forge strength through perseverance. Expect top-tier support, a passionate community, and a course built for both performance and camaraderie.
ANVIL coordinates with local state parks and townships to offer some of the most beautiful races in the US - offering ANVIL [1.5x or more full distance triathlon] and half distance events. Ultra triathlon provides the unique opportunity to be both superhuman and completely broken simultaneously. Unlike most experiences the sport provides time for reflection, the need for consistent internal feedback, ebbs and flows of doubt, and the understanding that something will inevitably go wrong during the event and as a result, we become better humans. We cannot wait to see you on the course!
The Wisconsin Anvil course is uniquely designed using short, repeatable loops within and just outside of Ottawa Lake State Park. This format ensures maximum athlete safety and constant encouragement from volunteers and fellow participants. The beating heart of the Anvil is its on-course Aid Station & Athlete Village. You will have access to your personal crew every loop, allowing for consistent refueling, gear swaps, and motivational boosts. You will be supported with real food made with care and a 24-hour on-site medical team.
At ANVIL we know that success comes well before and well after any particular race day event. From nutrition and hydration preparation, training plans, sponsor discounts and giveaways, community calls and beyond - we are working to develop all of the essentials to make your race day as smooth as possible. We truly believe that success is all that you gain before and after our events - that they are perspective altering for many who participate and that anyone has the potential to be successful if they apply themselves appropriately.
