Wicked Worm

The Wicked Worm Trail Races, held at Robinette’s Apple Haus in West Michigan, offer runners an unforgettable challenge on one of the region's most technical trails. The 10K race takes participants around and through sections of the WMTR course on the orchard's North side, while endurance athletes can tackle either a 6-hour or 12-hour event covering multiple loops along the orchard and parts of the WMTR route.
For both the 6-hour and 12-hour races, racers have ample opportunity to rest and strategize their pacing. The 6-hour race concludes at 1:45 pm with a last lap requirement, while the 12-hour event wraps up by 7:45 pm on the same day. Racers can drop out anytime during these events but must check in at the main aid station upon finishing for safety reasons.
The scenic orchard setting provides runners with plenty of shade and picturesque views as they loop through sections marked 1 & 3 of the WMTR course, each lap measuring approximately 4.2 miles. Participants are encouraged to park along the race route and bring their own gear such as chairs or canopies for resting spots.
Pacers are permitted starting at 4 pm for the grueling 12-hour event but must adhere strictly to safety protocols including signing a waiver and checking in/out with aid station staff. All finishers receive a handcrafted medal from Wicked Skins, while additional swag items will be announced closer to race day.
Breakfast is served post-race for those completing the 10K distance, ensuring racers have something hearty to refuel after their efforts on the challenging terrain of Robinette’s Apple Haus.
