About the Event

Join us in the beautiful North Georgia mountains on November 15, 2025 for the Inaugural White County Turkey Trot! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting, the 5k is designed for all runners and walkers.

Proceeds from this year’s White County Turkey Trot will support United Way of White County and Northeast Georgia Veterans Society.

All in person participants will receive a race T-shirt (be sure to sign up by the shirt deadline to guarantee a shirt on race day), race bib, course support, and post race refreshments. Virtual participants will receive a race t-shirt (make sure to include an email upon registration so a mailing address can be obtained).

T-shirt guarantee deadline: October 20, 2025. After that date t-shirts are not guaranteed and will be available as supply lasts.

Course

The race will start and end at the Recreation Center at Yonah Preserve. The scenic 5K course is run completely inside the park.

10:00 AM Award Ceremony Start Time (approximately)

Awards

Awards will be given to first and second place for both male and female runners in the following categories:

Overall Winner and the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

*Please note that awards will not be mailed. If you need to leave before the ceremony, please pick up your award at the awards table.
