The course winds around the serene shores of West Point Lake, offering breathtaking views that stretch out at least halfway along each route. With only 90 spots available, this race is designed with an intimate atmosphere in mind, ensuring every runner gets personalized attention and support from fellow participants and volunteers alike.
Early registration guarantees not just a spot on the course but also a custom BOCO running cap as part of your entry package. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, adding a meaningful dimension to this event that goes beyond athletic achievement.
The race begins at 9:00 AM from Resource Management Road and features a single hydration station strategically placed along the route to keep runners hydrated during their run. Upon crossing the finish line, participants are greeted with celebratory Super Bowl Sunday snacks, refreshing bottled water, and electrolyte drinks to aid in recovery.
Awards will be presented to overall male and female winners, while all finishers receive special recognition for completing this inaugural event of the Georgia trail series.
