West Point Break

Kick off the Southern Singletrack Trail Series with a scenic and fast-paced adventure at the West Point Break on Sunday, February 8, 2026, a 5K and 10K race on the gently rolling Turkey Run Trail along the beautiful shores of West Point Lake. This event is perfectly designed as an inviting introduction for new trail runners while offering a quick, enjoyable loop for seasoned athletes, with at least half the course providing stunning lake views. With a strict cap of just 90 participants to ensure a classic small-race atmosphere, early registration is essential to secure one of the coveted custom BOCO running caps included with every entry. A portion of the proceeds supports the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, adding a meaningful layer to your morning run.

Starting at 9:00 AM from the Resource Management Road, the race features a single hydration station and finishes with celebratory Super Bowl Sunday snacks, bottled water, and electrolyte drinks. The event awards overall male and female winners and grants every finisher a special award and serious trail cred.
