WELLNESS ON THE WATER

This is more than just a 5K! Kick off your morning with a 5K route tracing along the waterfront, through the legendary historic district and finishing at the Arcade Amphitheatre. After your run, enjoy a lineup of fitness and movement sessions led by local, certified instructors. Meet & greet with local health & wellness providers at the Wellness Expo, hosted by AdSource. Kids can explore and enjoy movement in our Kids Zone.

Registration Fees:
$35 = Monday, February 9, 2026 thru Monday, May 1, 2026.

Thursday, May 7 & Friday, May 8

      Time: 10AM - 3PM

      Time: 7:00 - 7:30AM
     

Important note = Registered participants need photo identification. Proxy pickup is allowed for immediate family members, husband/wife/sibling, with identification.
 
Race Day Schedule:
7:00AM- Packet pickup and race day registration opens
7:30AM- Packet pickup and race day registration closes
7:45AM- Pre race meeting
8:00AM- Race begins
9:15AM- Approximate time for awards

T-Shirts:
Short sleeved performance shirts are provided to registered participants. Shirts are guaranteed to those participants who registered prior to Friday, May 1st.

 
Refund and cancellation policy:
All sales are final. No refunds are permitted. 

 
Cancellation:
If we foresee dangerous conditions that warrant cancellations, we will update you via email and/or post onto @LakeCharlesEventCenter on Facebook/Instagram.
 
Weather:
If there is lightning in the area, the race may be delayed, route altered/shortened, or cancelled. If fog present, the visibility will determine if delayed start or altered/shortened route is necessary. The Marshall’s officers & Lake Charles Event Center staff will make the determination. 
 
Parking:
Parking is available at the Lake Charles Event Center.
