Weining Lake Caohai Cross Country Race 2026 (2026威宁·环草海越野赛)

The 2026 Weni Ninghai Trail Race is set to take place on Sunday, October 25th, at 6:00 AM in People's Square, Weining County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. This event features three distinct distance categories: the Hemin Jiugao 50K, Wu Meng Tage 30K, and Cǎohǎi Shibei 10K.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. Early bird pricing will be available for registrations received by September 28th.
The Hemin Jiugao 50K category offers an exhilarating journey covering approximately 48.9 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 2347 meters and reaches its highest point at 2474 meters above sea level. The race starts on October 25th, 6:00 AM and concludes by 8:00 PM, allowing participants up to 14 hours to complete the course.
The Wu Meng Tage 30K provides runners with a challenging yet rewarding experience over a distance of about 30.8 kilometers, featuring an elevation gain of 1180 meters and reaching its peak at 2474 meters above sea level. Participants will have until 2:00 PM to finish their journey, giving them up to eight hours.
For those looking for a shorter but equally scenic route, the Cǎohǎi Shibei 10K offers approximately 10.8 kilometers of running with an elevation gain of 443 meters and reaches its highest point at 2440 meters above sea level. The race begins at 6:00 AM on October 25th, providing participants three hours to complete the course.
