A nationwide sea of crimson emerges from February 13-28, 2026, as the Wear Red Canada Movement Challenge transforms individual activity into collective action for women's heart and vascular health. This innovative campaign redefines fitness challenges by empowering participants to choose their movement—5km or 10km distances, 30 or 60 minutes of activity—completed anywhere across Canada's vast landscape through running, walking, snowshoeing, yoga, or any personal preference. More than exercise, each red-clad participant becomes part of a visual statement against heart disease, the number one killer of Canadian women, while raising crucial awareness and funds for the Canadian Women's Heart Health Alliance.

With free signature red or white socks or fleece headbands for registrants, family discounts, and flexible participation windows, the challenge removes barriers to involvement while creating tangible impact. Whether moving solo or forming teams like "Kids Ko Hearts in Motion," participants upload results to national leaderboards, share via #WearRedCanada, and contribute to a future where women's cardiovascular health receives the attention, research, and care it fundamentally deserves.
