Walton Wobble Winter Edition

On January 31, 2027, runners will gather at Walton High School for the Winter Edition of the Walton Wobble. The race kicks off at 10:00 am with ample parking available on school grounds. Participants can choose between two races: a scenic 5k Hill Dodger and an invigorating 10k Winter Edition.
The 5k route, affectionately called 'Hill-Dodger', winds through varied terrain offering runners the chance to dodge hills while enjoying festive winter scenery. The race ends with a water station at the finish line where participants can grab refreshments like pancakes and hot drinks from vendors on site.
For those up for more of a challenge, the 10k Winter Edition offers a longer course that showcases the beauty of Walton's landscape under snow-covered trees. Runners will encounter one water station along their route to keep hydrated during this brisk winter run.
Both races are celebrated with medals and commemorative fridge magnets upon completion. Additionally, participants who purchase an anniversary t-shirt before January 10th can contribute to a charity partner through the sale proceeds. The event is known for its enthusiastic marshals cheering on runners throughout both courses, making it a welcoming experience for all levels of athletes.
Join fellow enthusiasts at Walton High School and take part in this charming winter tradition that combines fitness with community spirit.
