Village of Evergreen Park Leprechaun Leap

The Village of Evergreen Park Leprechaun Leap returns for its St. Patrick's 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Hosted at the Evergreen Park Community Center in Evergreen Park, IL, this festive community event encourages participants to "go green" for a morning of fitness and Irish luck. The family-friendly 5K is open to runners, walkers, and strollers of all abilities, featuring a spirited atmosphere complete with post-race music, refreshments, and activities for both participants and spectators.

Participation and Logistics

The race utilizes disposable chip timing attached to race bibs, and participants are reminded to wear bibs on the front of their clothing to ensure accuracy. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in age groups ranging from 14 & under to 70 & older. Packet pickup is held at the Community Center on Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. While commemorative swag is provided while supplies last, participants registered after March 16 are not guaranteed an event shirt.

Registration Deadlines

Online registration for the 2026 event concluded on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. However, race day registration is available on Saturday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Evergreen Park Community Center.
