Victory Marathon 2026

On December 20, 2026, the Victory Marathon returns to Chennai as part of the Colours of Glory Foundation’s annual tribute to India's military heritage. This year’s race commemorates the historic victory in 1971 and follows a scenic route from Olcott School Gate through Adyar via Elliot’s Beach (Cozee Corner) back to Aavin Roundabout.
The event features four distinct categories, catering to runners of all ages:
- The 'Victory Lap' is a challenging 10K race that includes two laps around the course.
- For those seeking a slightly shorter distance, the ‘Race to Glory’ offers a 7K route without a beach segment.
- A more accessible option is the 'Blitzkrieg', a single stretch of 3.5K from Olcott School Gate back.
- The youngest participants can join in with the fun at Cozee Corner during the 'Coup De Main' race, covering just 1.5 kilometers.
All top three finishers across genders receive trophies and cash prizes for the Victory Lap category (Rs. 10,000 for first place). Every runner is guaranteed a Finisher Medal and Certificate upon completion of their chosen distance.
Participants are advised to collect T-shirts and bibs from Gate No. 2 Rajaji Bhavan on December 19 between 10 AM and 6 PM before assembling at the same location at 5 AM for race day festivities. Registration fees vary based on category, with discounts available for college students, defense personnel, police officers, NCC cadets, and school children.
This event not only celebrates military valor but also aims to inspire patriotism among young Indians through sportsmanship and community engagement. For more information or inquiries about the Victory Marathon, visit www.coloursofglory.org or contact 94446 43852 via WhatsApp.
