Veteran Games Darwin 2026

Experience the thrill of competition and camaraderie at the Darwin Veteran Games Heats, set to take place on September 18, 2026. This unique event gathers veterans from all walks of life for an intense, military-inspired challenge held at Robertson Barracks 1st Brigade in the Northern Territory.
Teams consisting of 8 to 10 members are invited to participate. Entry is free but registration is mandatory. During the registration process, teams will select their preferred competition day—Friday—and receive a specific time slot prior to the event start.
Dress code for participants includes cam pants and boots; team shirts must be supplied by each group. The event features an obstacle course and two military-style events, with details of these challenges revealed on the day itself. Each segment is designed to test not only individual skill but also teamwork and strategy, running up to 10 minutes in duration.
The winning team will secure a fully sponsored place at the Veteran Games National Finals, taking place later that year on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Successful participants will receive an official invitation to compete alongside other top veterans.
