The Var Verdon Trail Canyon will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, starting and finishing in Aiguines, within the Gorges du Verdon (the largest canyon in Europe), France. Distances include 40 km (6:00 AM start, 10 hour limit, +1,932 m elevation gain), 24 km (6 hour limit, +1,673 m), 17 km (4 hour limit, +1,274 m), and 8 km (3 hour limit, +270 m). All courses are highly technical, offering breathtaking landscapes of cliffs, turquoise waters, and wild nature. The 40 km and 24 km routes are part of the Provence Trail Challenge. The event has been running for over 30 years (since 1993).

All participants must follow event rules and regulations. The course is marked with orange plates with reflective dots, biodegradable red and white tape, and directional signs. Access to rankings is available online. The event is organized by the AERIA Organisation association. Approximately 1,000 runners and 150 volunteers participate annually. The 40 km route includes a descent to Galetas, climbs to Col d'Iloire, technical passages at Vaumale cirque, a long climb to Grand Margès (1,560 m), and a technical descent to Aiguines. The 24 km and 17 km routes also summit Grand Margès.
