The Urban Trail du Pecq and Mesnil returns for its fourth edition with an expanded lineup of races to cater to runners of all levels. Building on the success of last year's 11km race, this year’s event introduces a new 20km course that winds through verdant landscapes while continuing to support CASIOPEEA, an association dedicated to fighting breast cancer. The shorter 11km route begins with a warm-up lap around Parc Corbière before following the Seine River past landmarks like Les Pyramides. Runners then navigate through public buildings and unexpected terrain in both Pecq and Mesnil, culminating at the scenic Berges de Seine park for the return journey to Parc Corbière. This course features an elevation gain of over 100 meters. The longer 20km race follows a similar initial path before diverging into lush forests near St Germain’s terrace. It continues through Mesnil, offering runners a more extensive exploration of natural beauty and varied terrain compared to the shorter route. Both races are timed events that award top finishers in each category as well as overall winners. The 11km race is open to athletes born on or before 2011 while the 20km event welcomes those born on or before 2009. Participants must provide up-to-date PPS attestations, FFA licenses, or equivalent for adults. For minors over 16 years old, a medical certificate remains mandatory despite recent changes to French sporting regulations. A family-friendly 8km walk is also part of the event schedule, featuring local history and environmental enigmas along the route. Participants receive small gifts upon completion. The day’s activities kick off at 9:00 AM with the start of the longer 20km race followed by the shorter Urban Trail du Pecq at 9:30 AM. Both races conclude in Parc Corbière, which serves as a central hub for all events including a children's run within the park’s grounds. Dossards can be collected on-site either Saturday from 14:00 to 18:00 or Sunday starting at 7:00 AM. After completing their runs, participants are invited to join the optional enigmatic walk with briefing sessions available before departure and a chance to submit answers upon return by 13:30 PM. The event promises an engaging day filled with scenic routes, competitive races, family activities, and community spirit in support of a worthy cause.
