About the Event

The RMB Ultra-trail Cape Town (UTCT) is a world-renowned trail running festival held against the dramatic backdrop of Cape Town's Table Mountain National Park. Scheduled for November 21-23, 2025, the event offers a range of challenging distances including a grueling 100-mile race, a 100km ultramarathon, and shorter 55km, 35km, 23km, and 16km routes. The courses traverse highly technical terrain across the Cape Peninsula, taking runners through a UNESCO World Heritage site with steep ascents, unpredictable weather, and breathtaking coastal and mountain scenery. As a bucket-list event for global trail runners, UTCT provides genuine mountain excursions that demand respect, preparation, and a spirit of adventure. The festival atmosphere celebrates the sport amidst one of the world's most iconic natural landscapes.
