Tyndall Air Force Base Norwegian Foot March

On December 10, 2026, the Norwegian Foot March invites participants to experience one of Norway's most challenging endurance events. Set against the backdrop of rugged Scandinavian landscapes, this 30-kilometer (18.6-mile) route tests both physical and mental limits as runners traverse varied terrain while carrying a mandatory rucksack weighing in at 11 kilograms (24 pounds). The event highlights include steep ascents, forest trails, and open stretches that challenge participants' stamina and resilience. With its military origins, the Norwegian Foot March offers not only a grueling physical test but also an immersive experience of Norway's natural beauty and historical traditions.
