About the Event

53nd ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DAY TURKEY TROT RUN—2.5 MILE AND 5 MILE

When/Where:           Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, at Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, Iowa
Ages:                        4 years and older  

Registration:    In the Wahlert Catholic gym 6:00 pm-7:15 pm Wednesday November 26th and 7:30-8:45 am Thursday November 27th   

Pre-registered runners/walkers can pick up their bib number and/or shirt at this time in the balcony of the gym. 

Entry Fee:        $20 (cash, cc and/or a check payable to Wahlert Catholic High School)

T shirts:           Long-sleeve performance fit shirts will be available for purchase from store website or day of the race.  Cost is $20. (limited supply) 

After November 23th SHIRTS CAN NOW ONLY BE PURCHASED AT RACE VENUE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

Register online and reserve a t-shirt to be picked up the day of the race.

Sizes: YM, YL, S, M, L, XL, XXL

 Race Times:    9:00     2.5 mile and 5 mile race will begin at the same time

 Awards:   A certificate for a turkey will be awarded to the first place finisher in each age division of the 2.5 and 5-mile race. 

Course:   2.5 mile Start in front of Mazzuchelli Catholic and head east on Kane St.  go left on Balboa Dr. then left on North Grandview the left on W 32nd St go right on left on Carter Rd. then left on Kane St back to Wahlert Catholic for the finish.   5 mile- repeat the 2.5-mile loop
