TURKEY 5K RUN

The Neighborhood Run Club presents "The Turkey 5K," an annual tradition that brings the local community together for a festive and friendly run on Thanksgiving weekend. This year, participants will gather at dawn to navigate through scenic neighborhoods filled with autumn foliage and the warm glow of holiday decorations. The course winds past charming homes adorned with pumpkins and corn stalks, offering runners a unique blend of urban paths and quiet side streets.
As you lace up your running shoes for this 5K journey, anticipate a spirited start line where volunteers hand out race bibs and cheer on competitors as they set off at sunrise. The run itself is designed to be both enjoyable and challenging, with slight elevation changes that highlight the beauty of fall in the region. Along the way, runners will pass by local eateries wafting tempting aromas of Thanksgiving feasts yet to come.
The event culminates back where it began, providing a perfect opportunity for participants to take part in post-race festivities and enjoy refreshments while celebrating their achievement with fellow runners and spectators alike. This is more than just a race; it's an experience that captures the essence of community spirit during one of the most cherished times of year.
