Prepare to be swept away by the raw power of the North Devon and Cornish coast at the Tsunami Ocean Trails on Saturday, June 6, 2026. This iconic event returns with a tidal wave of extreme trail running, offering three formidable distances: the epic 37.5-mile Ultra from Westward Ho!, the classic Clovelly Marathon starting from the iconic cobbled harbour, and the punishing 16-mile route from Hartland Quay. Each course navigates the most rugged, wild, and remote sections of the South West Coast Path, featuring nearly 2,000 meters of vertiginous ascent and descent along breathtaking yet unforgiving cliff tops. These are undoubtedly some of the toughest trail running challenges in the region, designed for runners seeking a truly rewarding and isolated adventure.
The experience is meticulously crafted by runners for runners, with superbly stocked checkpoints in the remote wilderness and a finish line on the lawns of Castle Bude in Bude. Every finisher earns a bespoke, highly coveted Tsunami medal, a testament to conquering one of the South West's most legendary routes. With optional bus transport to the starts and iconic event t-shirts available, this is more than a race—it's a pilgrimage for serious trail runners. Will you be a finisher, or will you be wiped out trying? The choice is yours on one of the UK's most spectacular and demanding coastal trails.
