Trollrun 2026

Trollrun 2026 returns with an exciting six-hour endurance challenge, marking the first time since its inception that this extended format will be offered again at Vejen Idrætscenter. Participants can look forward to navigating a diverse course featuring asphalt roads, gravel paths, and scenic forest trails around the sports center. The event is set for November 7, 2026, with registration available until midnight on November 6, 2025.
Unlike traditional races, this six-hour run requires self-measurement of your final distance when the horn sounds at 3:00 PM. Your results will be submitted to ultra-marathon.org for official D-U-V statistics recognition. All participants receive a unique Trollrun medal upon completion regardless of their chosen distance.
The race day atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with runners encouraged to arrive early and bring their best attitude to create an enjoyable running festival together. The start times vary: the six-hour event begins at 9:00 AM, followed by the marathon (10:00 AM), half-marathon (11:00 AM), and two concurrent shorter races starting at noon.
A well-stocked depot provides refreshments such as water, sports drinks, fruits, energy bars, beer, and soda. Participants are advised to bring their own reusable cups for sustainability reasons. Remember that all runners compete on their own responsibility; accurate timekeeping is crucial for inclusion in the final results list.
