After two highly successful editions, TRITON 1 Salvador has cemented its place as one of the most anticipated sporting events in the vibrant city of Salvador — and it’s back, bigger and better than ever!
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the stunning Placafor Beach in Piatã will once again host the kickoff of the TRITON WORLD SERIES 2026, serving as a qualifying stage for the world championship. With a spectacular setting and an electrifying course, this race is your invitation to go beyond your limits.
Swim in the warm, calm waters of Bahia. Race through a fast, flat course that runs almost entirely along the scenic coastline — perfect for speed, strategy, and endurance.
In 2025, the blazing sun and intense heat of Bahia added extra fire to the competition. Now, in 2026, the adrenaline will be even higher, as athletes return more determined than ever to prove that “your mind is stronger than your body.”
TRITON 1 Salvador 2026 continues its innovative format, offering three race distances and multiple ways to compete:
🔥 SPRINT: 500 m swim / 20 km bike / 5 km run
🔥 MIDDLE: 1.000 m swim / 40 km bike / 10 km run
🔥 LONG: 1.500 m swim / 60 km bike / 15 km run
In addition to the individual triathlon, athletes can choose to race as a team in the RELAY (SPRINT) format or customize their own challenge with MIX & MATCH, selecting different distances for each leg of the race — perfect for those who want to tailor the experience to their strengths.
