All proceeds to benefit WAKD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides mentoring for youth through basketball, faith and community. Funds will go toward foundation events like it's summer basketball camp, Thanksgiving turkey giveaway, and weekly run club.
Race starts and finishes on the campus of NSU in the parking lot near Prather Coliseum & Collins Family Pavilion.

If you would like to support the cause and receive a t-shirt without having to break a sweat, you can register as a sleep-in supporter for $30 by October 16th. Your t-shirt will be available at packet pick up.
Packet pick up:
You may pick up your race packet at Premier Fitness & Athletics - 325 South Drive, Natchitoches, LA 71457 on Friday, October 30th from 4-6 p.m. or at the race site on race morning starting at 7:00 a.m.
Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a $25 gift certificate and a medal. Additionally, 1st place male and female in each age group will get a medal.

About Natchitoches

Natchitoches is a city in and the parish seat of Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 18,039 at the 2020 census. Established in 1714 by Louis Juchereau de St. Denis as part of French Louisiana, the community was named after the indigenous Natchitoches people. The city was incorporated on February 5, 1819, and is the oldest permanent settlement in the land acquired by the Louisiana Purchase. Natchitoches is home to Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Its sister city is Nacogdoches, Texas.
