This comprehensive training workshop is tailored for individuals tasked with ensuring the wellbeing and protection of children and young people in sports clubs or organisations. Participants will gain advanced knowledge and practical skills to effectively manage concerns related to child welfare within their respective settings.
Eligibility Requirements:
Participants must have completed both modules of the Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport Workshop (CWPS) and be at least 18 years old.
The workshop, led by an approved tutor, delves into critical areas such as identifying a robust framework for safeguarding governance within sports organisations. Attendees will learn to distinguish various roles and responsibilities related to child protection and develop the confidence needed to assess adult suitability when working with young individuals.

- Effectively responding to welfare concerns in both sporting environments and beyond.
- Strategies for initiating cultural change that prioritises youth safety and support.
Format:
The three-hour session will take place online via a virtual classroom, offering an interactive experience from the comfort of your home. This platform allows real-time interaction with tutors and fellow participants through video conferencing, live Q&A sessions, group discussions, and breakout rooms for more intimate learning experiences.
