Trailblazer - 2026 Xiamen City Trail Race starts at 6:00 AM on Sunday, November 1, at Calligraphy Square Beach in Xiamen. Categories include 35km Mountain-and-Sea Warriors, 20km Egret Island Wild Chase, 10km East Sea Ballad, and 10km Egret Youth (Parent-Child); registration is first-come, first-served until full, with an early-bird rate before August 13. 35km Mountain-and-Sea Warriors: start 7:00, cut-off 16:00 (9-hour limit), 1,850m cumulative elevation gain, 2 ITRA points. 20km Egret Island Wild Chase: start 7:30, cut-off 12:30 (5-hour limit), 977m cumulative elevation gain, 1 ITRA point. 10km East Sea Ballad: start 8:30, cut-off 11:30 (3-hour limit), 266m cumulative elevation gain. 10km Egret Youth (Parent-Child): start 9:00, cut-off 12:00 (3-hour limit), 266m cumulative elevation gain. The 2026 course has been fully redesigned around a 'mountain, sea, city, lake, island panorama' concept, linking many of Xiamen Island's landmarks with a new view at every turn. The route starts on the beach at Calligraphy Square, winds through city streets, mountain trails and elevated boardwalks, and finishes back on the beach - a full arc from the beach to the mountains, and from the mountains back to the sea.
