Trail et Rando des coteaux - Voutezac - 2027

The Trail des Côteaux returns for its 17th edition, offering runners an unforgettable journey through the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes of the Saillant vineyards along the Vézère River. Participants can choose from three challenging courses: a grueling 49 km route (with a total elevation gain of 2000 meters) that is part of the UTMB Index in the 50KM category, a more moderate but still demanding 25 km trail run with an elevation increase of 1000 meters also listed on the UTMB Index for the 20KM class, and a shorter yet scenic 13 km option.
The race begins at Place de la Mairie in a festive atmosphere, starting promptly at 8:00 AM for the longest course, followed by the intermediate distance at 10:00 AM, and concluding with the 13 km run at 11:00 AM. Runners will enjoy lush greenery and stunning views as they navigate through rugged terrain that is predominantly off-road.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants are greeted with a hearty meal of soup and grilled treats to refuel after their efforts. The event also provides essential facilities such as showers on-site for runners who wish to freshen up post-race.
Registration requires either a license, PPS (Permis de Pratiquer le Sport), or medical certificate for the trail events but is open without these requirements for non-competitive walks. Dossiers can be collected at Place de la Mairie from 7:00 AM on race day or earlier if possible.
With strict limits set to ensure a high-quality experience, only up to 550 participants are permitted across all three courses this year. However, the walking routes remain open with no participant cap and offer unchronometered opportunities for those preferring an unhurried exploration of the trails in either traditional or nordic walking styles.
