The Trail Enguerrand returns for its 5th edition on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the historic village of Coucy-le-Château, Aisne. This unique event invites runners to "run through the corridors of time" within a medieval setting featuring 13th-century castle ruins and ancient ramparts. The course offers a breathtaking mix of picturesque landscapes, crossing forests, fields, and private estates that are exclusively accessible on race day. Beyond the sport, the event supports the association "5000 Enfants vivent leur rêve," helping disadvantaged children experience holidays and joy.

Course Specifics and Respect for Private Property
The 10 km Trail du Château features a challenging positive elevation gain of 256 meters. A critical rule for the 2026 edition is that the course traverses six private properties; therefore, the organizers strictly request that participants do not attempt to run the route prior to the race day to ensure the sustainability of the event. While the course map is provided for indicative purposes, the true trail remains a secret discovery for the day of the adventure. Runners are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their respective start times to collect their race bibs.
Registration and Deadlines
Registration for the 2026 Trail Enguerrand opened on December 15, 2025, and is managed exclusively through the Adeorun platform. The final deadline to register is Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM. It is important to note that no registrations will be accepted after this date, and no on-site registrations will be permitted on the day of the race. For the youth races (Trail de Ronde), participation is strictly capped at 75 runners per category (Poussins and Benjamins), so early sign-up is encouraged.
