The Trail du Manoir 2026, organized by the Glass Vallée Trail Bike association, is set to take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026. This edition features a move to the Manoir de Fontaine in Blangy-sur-Bresle, Seine-Maritime. Billed as a true "festival of trail running," the event is famous for its relentless elevation changes—locally described as "ça monte et ça descend"—and maintains a vibrant, community-focused atmosphere with professional timing provided by MPSE.
For 2026, the organizers have introduced three entirely new courses while retaining the signature 26 km route, known for its grueling 1,000m of positive elevation gain. High-stakes prizes are on the line, including one-week stays in Valmeinier for the top male and female finishers on the two longest distances.
| Race Category | Distance | Elevation Gain (D+) | Start Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Trail | 40 km | 1500 m | 07:30 AM |
| Trail de la Bégnibus | 26 km | 1000 m | 08:30 AM |
| Trail Intermédiaire | 18 km | 700 m | 09:00 AM |
| Trail l'Agrion | 13 km | 300 m | 09:30 AM |
Blangy-sur-Bresle is situated in the heart of the "Glass Valley," a region celebrated for its historical glass-making industry and its deep, forested valleys. The terrain primarily utilizes the steep slopes surrounding the Bresle river, offering a mix of technical single-tracks and significant vertical climbs that test even experienced runners. In late April, participants should expect typical Norman spring weather; average daytime temperatures reach 14°C (57°F), though the dense forest canopy can keep the trails damp and technical.
Logistics for the 2026 event have seen recent updates, notably a time change for the 40 km start, now moved up to 7:30 AM to better accommodate the long-distance field. In addition to the four competitive trails, the event offers 13 km and 18 km non-timed marches for walkers. A mountain bike (VTT) event is also scheduled for the Saturday prior to the main trail races. Registration is managed digitally via the Njuko platform, and participants are encouraged to coordinate through the active "Glass vallée trail bike" Facebook community for bib transfers and GPX track updates.
