TRAIL DU CALVAIRE 2026

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, runners of all levels are invited to the heart of nature for the Trail du Calvaire in Knutange. This event offers two scenic routes through the lush landscapes around the Parc Municipal.
The shorter route spans a distance of 12 kilometers with an elevation gain of 350 meters, taking participants through historic mining areas that add intrigue and challenge to the run. For those seeking more adventure, there's also a longer option: 24 kilometers with 700 meters of ascent, culminating at Castine.
Both races start promptly at 9:30 AM, providing runners ample time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings before they set off on their journey through trails that wind around hills and forests. A family-friendly race kicks off an hour later at 10:00 AM, offering a relaxed environment for all ages to participate together.
Upon completion of either route, participants can look forward to refreshments along the way as well as a complimentary buffet with both sweet and savory treats upon finishing.
